Salter Industries has been fabricating steel for three generations.
Since 1979, we have specialized in spiral stairs on a national
basis. Our involvement in spiral stairs originated from a
local consumer demand. As we became more enthusiastic about
our design, we began selling our product throughout the United
States. We have supplied stairs for lighthouses, Broadway
shows, television and movie sets, colleges, commercial application
and residential homes from England to Japan.

Salter's commitment to quality is evident in the beauty of
our spiral stair. The versatility of our modern manufacturing
plant enables us to produce stairs from all steel to all wood.
Delivering such a quality product can only be accomplished
by having a steel fabricating shop and an architectural wood
working facility all under one roof. That is our commitment
to making sure we provide the best possible spiral stair in
the industry.
Manufacture Direct
We sell our stairs manufacture direct to builders, architects
and do-it-yourselfers. The stairs are shipped directly from
our plant in Pennsylvania and delivered to your job sight.
The stairs we make are pre-engineered kits. After the stair
parts are manufactured, all individual components are packaged
and given to a freight company for delivery.
Easy Assembly
The advantage of a pre-engineered kit is that it's economical
to deliver and can be carried into the home in manageable
pieces. Our stairs have been engineered so a do-it-yourselfer
or carpenter, with no special tools or skills, can assemble
it!

Since spiral stairs are considered a space saving product,
we are often asked to design a stair for many difficult applications.
