Trade Show Done – Deck and Remodeling Show

So it’s Friday. I just had another 14 hour day and we just got back to the hotel from the final day of the Deck and Remodeling Trade Show.

Wake up 6:30. Shower and grab some food. 7:15 I start the drive to a customers house. He had stopped by the booth on Wednesday and was raving about how he just put in one of our spirals this year. So I asked and he was kind enough to oblige to allow me to come out to his house and take some pictures for the website. It was a very nice house and stair so I look forward to getting those up.

Then I was back at our booth around 9:30. My plant manager Dave was doing well chatting with customers. Then after about six more hours on our feet the show was over. Needless to say it is quite tiring being on your feet for the entire time (we opted for no chairs). Then we had to dissasemble a 2,000 lb booth and pack it away for shipping. That took about five more hours. I have to hand it to Dave for being a great support and enthusiastic. We had a game plan and stook to it.

All in all we are very pleased. We made a lot of great contacts and spread the word about how a Salter Spiral Stair can be a great addition to any contractor’s arsenal of products. Whether they are off a deck or interior, a spiral stair saves room, looks great, and assembles a lot quicker than a straight stair.
