• While all the treads are on the ground, partially thread the set screws into the tread and platform sleeves.

• Stand the center column up in the opening.

• Locate the tread with the short hub and slide it over the center column, it will be the bottom tread.

• Slide the remaining treads over the center column.

• Slide the platform over the center column. Use the lag screws supplied and attach the platform in the desired location.

• Plumb the center column and attach the center column to the floor with the lag screws supplied.

• Slide the 4" x 40" center column extension over the center column. and tighten the set screws.

• Start the installation with the top tread. Place a baluster in the hole closest to the platform. Attach the baluster to the tread with the ¼" x 1 ½" carriage bolt, nut and lock washer supplied. Be certain that you start the rotation the same way as it was ordered.

• Spin the top tread with the baluster attached, to the face of the platform. Plumb the baluster and attach the top baluster to the face of the platform using the top baluster bracket.

• Check that the tread is level and that the baluster is plumb. Tighten the 5/16" set screws to lock the tread in place. Always tighten the baluster hardware first; check that the baluster is plumb and then tighten the set screws last.
