Lift the next tread to its proper height. Place a baluster
in the front hole of the upper treads and the back hole
of the lower tread. Tighten the baluster hardware first,
plumb the baluster and tighten the set screws last.
Continue this procedure with the remainder of the treads.

The bottom baluster will only have one hole to connect
to the last tread. Attach the bottom baluster bracket
to the floor with the 5/16" lag bolts supplied. Once
again, plumb the baluster. |

Attach the handrail to the balusters with the hardware
supplied.

The paint applied to the steel stair is considered a primer
unless you ordered a powder coated stair. At this time
you should paint the steel and finish the wood treads
by applying the desired stain and polyurethane. Now you
can install the wooden tread covers with the screws supplied.
